STORE SUPERVISOR
Responsible to: Area Manager
Direct report(s): Cashiers, stock man, fashion consultants
JOB OBJECTIVE
- Responsible for achieving Sales and Profitability Target of Assigned Store
- Responsible for the general oversight and administration of Store Operations
- Assist the Area Manager in the conceptualization and formulation of Store Operations procedures and policies improvement to propel Retail Operations to achieve its objectives, guided by the Company's Vision, Mission and Values

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Achieves sales and profitability target of the Operations Group
1. Develop Store Operational Plans and Programs to achieve targeted annual sales growth
2. Assist the Area Manager in the preparation of plans and programs for the Area Group
3. Implement Cost Control strategies at the store level
4. Ensure adequate supply, distribution and promotion of Merchandise to optimize sale
5. Ensure adequate manning at the store to optimize sales
6. Conduct competitive check and provide recommendation on Market and Customer trends within the trading area, and other reports as required by Management
7. Maintain Overall Brand Image at the store level
B. Exceed Customer Expectation
1. Implement Operational, Customer, and Sales Excellence Programs:
a. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures
b. Adherence to Customer Service Programs
c. Adherence to Personnel Image Standards
2. Achieves zero customer complaint at store level and ensure that all customer concerns are handled properly and promptly.
C. Manpower Development
1. Conduct regular staff meeting to orient staff on new policies, changes in work system and to address people and work concerns
2. Identifies Training needs of Store Personnel and recommend to Area Manager Performance Improvement Programs
3. Control employees behavior by following the company's Employee Discipline Procedures and Code of Conduct
4. Recognize employees effort through Performance Reviews and Appraisal, and provides justified recommendation on Career and Personality growth
5. Maintain synergy in the team
6. Ensure proper maintenance of personnel files in the store
D. Asset Management
1. Ensure equipment efficiency at store level
2. Maintain Store Image
3. Implement and evaluate Inventory Management Standards / Systems to achieve target Inventory Cost for the store
4. Ensure that Company assets and properties are well secured and safe at all times
E. Cash Management
1. Ensure proper safekeeping of cash sales before deposit, and that no variances are audited
2. Ensure the safekeep and proper use of store's petty cash fund and other funds
3. Ensure proper turn-over of cash sales and official documents/records
PREFERED CRITERIA
1. Graduates of 4 year Business related Courses. MBA degree / units an advantage
2. 1-2 years supervisory experience, preferably in the service industry
3. Verifiable records of achievement, specifically in the areas of;
a. Achieving / surpassing viability targets
b. Systems building and implementation (Operations Development)
c. Team leadership and rapport with all levels in the Organization
4. Personal Competencies and Disposition:
a. Ability to analyze figures
b. Knowledgeable in developing market and feasibility studies
c. Above average communications skills
d. Emphasizes results in team member's work
e. Proactive and self-initiating interest in matters pertaining to the industry
