JOB OBJECTIVE
- To provide assistance in analyzing the prices of stock merchandise for maximizing sales opportunity in the achievement of the overall company objectives.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Compute for the Open to Buy per season
2. Monitor that the given Open to Buy (OTB) are properly met and consumed
3. Prepare Merchandise plan/ Buying plan within the given budget
4. Review product sales performance and inventory for future ordering reference
5. Prepare final pricing of the merchandise base on
a. cost price
b. mark-up
c. budget
d. profit
6. Coordinate with the Warehouse and Quality Control Department for inspection standing of the merchandise and deliveries
7. Conduct regular warehouse and store visit to check on sufficiency of stocks, its movement, and saleability
8. Check and ensure proper assortment of merchandise to generate customer traffic
9. Study stock position and proper distribution
10. Monitor stock status and movement of the merchandise within the given ratio
11. Recommended action to be taken on defective stocks (damage)
12. Regularly go on store visit to update and review product performance
13. Review and prepare markdown or discount for slow moving merchandise
14. Study and analyze the product performance upon delivery of new and core for developmental reference
- Buy products based on the prediction of customer needs and potential sales
- Prepare Merchandise plan/ Buying plan within the given budget
- Review product sales performance and inventory for future ordering reference
- Working closely with buyers and other merchandisers to plan product ranges.
- Predicting sales and profits.
- Managing levels and distribution of stock.
- Monitor stock status and movement of the merchandise within the given ratio
- Recommended action to be taken on defective stocks (damage)
- Review and prepare markdown or discount for slow moving merchandise
- Retail experience is an advantage
